He is married to Julie, who is step-mom to his daughter Jordan.
As Executive Pastor, his initial focus will be on the organizational health and development of Christ Church, including the resourcing of its ministries, equipping and coordination of ministry leaders, and the pastoral care of church members.
Jon-Paul Momsen

After earning his BS/BA at University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University, he now works in real estate private equity.
As one of the founding elders at Christ Church, he provides leadership for Christ Church's finances and planning, and he also helps lead a community group.
George Chang
Elder: George is an only child of immigrant parents, born and raised in Delaware. He first attended church in elementary school, where a Sunday school teacher walked through a Bible tract and prayed with him to accept Jesus - which he promptly hid under his mattress after getting home. It was approaching high school that he began to really explore and own his faith. While studying Biology at the University of Pennsylvania, George met his future wife, Becky. With a stop in Boston along the way, George and Becky have lived in San Francisco for the past 15 years, where their children, Caroline and Henry, were also born. He and his family have been attending Christ Church since 2015, and have felt called to live and serve in the city.
Jamin Jantz
Elder: Jamin was born and raised in South Carolina. He and his wife Melissa were married in 2003 and had three children (ages 13, 11, and 9) in South Carolina and earned an MBA from Southern Wesleyan University. Jamin worked remotely for a tech startup before being transferred to San Francisco in 2012 when they began attending Christ Church.
In 2016, work again transferred him to Kansas City. It was during this time that God confirmed the call to Jamin and his family to live and minister in San Francisco at Christ Church. In 2018, they moved back to San Francisco to participate more fully in the work of Christ Church.
Carter Kennedy
Elder: Carter was born in Laredo, TX moved to Boise, ID, Enid, Ok, San Antonio, TX, Memphis, TN, and St. Louis, MO by the 8th grade. He's the son of a former Air Force F-111 fighter pilot. He went to high school and college in Missouri. In 1996 he moved to Phoenix, AZ for a sales job and then in 1998 he got two internships as a script reader and synopsis writer for Warner Brothers and CastleRock in LA. Having moved around so much he knew that LA was not the place for him. He had a friend living in Menlo Park, CA and moved up here September, 1998. He attended City Church San Francisco the 2nd Sunday he arrived and felt that though he had no job, and only knew a few people that God was calling him to be part of the church and the work that God was doing in SF. God's calling him to San Francisco, to be part of an urban environment, is also what drew he and his wife Stephanie together. Stephanie has the same calling. They've been married since October, 2004 and have a son Franklin (8 yrs. old) and a daughter Ford (5 yrs. old). In 2014, they felt that God was calling them to explore other churches and felt that Christ Church San Francisco was the community they were being called to become a member and invest in. We have been thrilled to be part of the overall kingdom work that God has called us to be a part of here in SF and know that Christ Church San Francisco is absolutely, without a doubt, our community of brothers and sisters to serve, and walk alongside of.
